Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actor. She has received many awards which include the Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award in addition to and five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She belongs to the Barrymore actor family and the grand-daughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore gained fame as a child actress through her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a troubled childhood full of alcohol and drug abuse, she released Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 1990s she appeared in many films, including Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was in a variety of films with Adam Sandler, including The Wedding Singer as well as 50 First Dates, and Blended. Barrymore was a child actor who became famous due to her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood that was characterized by drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote an autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 90s she appeared in many films, including Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was a co-star with Adam Sandler on a few films including The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended.
