Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. She gained notoriety for her roles in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until 2020. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played regularly featured in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also been the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But, she was kicked out of her sophomore year and obtained the GED. Following that she went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
